Mayahi demands IS to nominate Witwit for MOD

Baghdad (NINA) – MP from the White Iraqiya Slate, Aziz Shareef Al Mayahi demanded the Iraqiya Slate to nominate Iskandar Witwit to run for the Ministry of Defense or express it opinion for nominating him.

In a press statement issued by his office today, Witwit said “in case the IS still believes in the national project, why would not it nominate Witwit for the MOD for his professional reputation, non-bias, and acceptance among the blocs.”

He added “unfortunately, IS nominates unacceptable candidates by the other blocs, except Bolani, in order to embarrass the government and the parliament and cause the delay in finalizing the security file, whether intentionally or not.” /End/
