Hashimi: Iraq looks forward to further cooperation, coordination with China

Baghdad (NINA) – Vice-President Tariq Al Hashimi expressed “Iraq’s desire for more cooperation, consultation, and coordination in the economic domain with China.”

Hashimi said, in a statement issued by his office, after meeting with the Chinese ambassador Chang Yi for the expiry of his terms of office in Iraq, “Iraq needs the Chinese expertise and get acquainted with the Chinese unique experience in this field.”

For his part, the Chinese ambassador expressed his country’s relief over the great development in the bilateral relations, explaining that the horizons are open for both countries to expand the commercial exchange and economic cooperation.
