Sadr addressing the Americans: leave, so that we do not attack you or your trainers
Najaf (NINA) – Leader of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada Al Sadr, renewed his demand to the American troops to withdraw from Iraq.
He addressed the Americans in a letter in English, saying “you have to leave Iraq, if your country was occupied; you would have asked the same thing, therefore, you have to leave Iraq.”
He added “would you accept having someone as a guardian on you or to occupy your country?”
Sadr threatened the Americans by saying “leave, so that we do not attack you or your trainers who taught the others nothing but torturing the prisoners, murdering the innocent and put bags on their heads, bomb safe cities, and oppress freedoms.”
He went on saying “we will keep resisting until you leave.”
Sadr rejected keeping some of the US troops in Iraq after 2011, not even as trainers.
