Two minor sisters die of poisonous biscuits



SIALKOT, August 05, 2011 (PPI): A shocking incident took place in the city of the poet o f the east Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal, when two minor girls died of poisonous biscuits.

Meanwhile, the ill-fated parents, who failed to obtain the post-mortem report despite they tried hard all the night long, as no hospital took the case, appealed to the authorities concerned for justice.

According to the details, the incident, which plagued the face of humanity, occurred within the limits of Neka Pura police station as one year old Amina and her as old sister Ali Shah started vomiting after they ate poisonous or expired biscuits in Tabban Sayyadan area of Sialkot district.

Although both the minor kids die on the spot, the parents remained clueless. Subsequently, parents took their daughters to hospitals namely Sardar Begum Hospital and Allama Iqbal Hospital, but due to the unavailability of doctors, no hospital took the case.

Later, the parents staged protest after placing the dead bodies of young Amina and Ali Shah on road, which prompted the area people to raise donation for the poor grieved family to arrange funeral of young kids.
