Siag discuss media dealing with sexual abused children

SANA'A, Sep. 15 (Saba) - Siag Organization for Child Protection is
to organize next Thursday a symposium on the media deals with photos
and names of children victims of sexual abuse.

The purpose of the symposium is to draw attenuation of the media men
and jurists to one of the most serious societal issues, which is the
sexual abuse against children and women, Siag's director Ahmed
al-Qershi said.

He added that the participants would address the impacts of
publishing the abused persons names and photos in the media outlets
on themselves and also their families and the best way to support
them without hurting them again.
