Premier calls on JMPs to participate in election committees

SHABWA, Sep. 14 (Saba)- Prime Minister Ali Mujawar called on Joint Meeting Parties (JMPs) to participate in the election main and sub committees will be in charge of managing next forthcoming election.

In his yesterday meeting (within reviving Ramadan nights in Shabwa governorate) with local council officials, Parliament and Shoura Council members, dignitaries and representatives of political parties, Mujawar criticized marketing attitudes of JMPs and their breaking of agreements they signed with General People Congress Party
over amending election law and mechanisms of forming the Supreme Committee for Elections and Referendum.

He reviewed with these officials a number of political, economic and security
developments. He talked about situation in Sa'ada after President's decree for
stopping the war, clarifying that the reconstruction works are going on in the
governorate.

He reviewed government's achievements for carrying out electoral program of the
President, indicating that the government has focused on reforming political and
legislation field and fixing administrative faults.

Concerning social care and social security network for poverty alleviation, prime
minister said a new survey has been carried out to targeted cases by Social Welfare
Fund. The survey showed that the beneficiary cases increased from 1, 1 million to
nearly 2 million.

Talking about economic situation, Mujawar clarified that the country supports oil
derivatives with YR 700 billion annually, affirming that the country is stable in
this support for reducing burdens on the citizen shoulders.
