U.S.-S. Korea Joint Military Exercise under Fire

Pyongyang, July 12 (KCNA) -- Some days ago, the United States and south Korea staged a "joint scientific exercise." Involved in the exercise were reconnaissance drones, long-range radars and laser guided devices of the U.S. 2nd Division.
Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says in a bylined commentary in this regard:
The exercise, the first of its kind staged in the area along the Military Demarcation Line, was a reckless saber-rattling aimed to ignite another Korean war at any cost in league with the south Korean regime.
The aggressive and dangerous nature of the exercise found a vivid manifestation in that the 2nd Division played a main role in the military exercise.
The maneuver was watched by the commander of the 8th U.S. Army in south Korea.
The 8th U.S. Army had already been reorganized as a field army.
The above-said fact clearly shows that the recent saber-rattling was designed to examine a military operation for preemptive attack on the DPRK.
It is the immediate scenario of the U.S. to threaten and blackmail the Korean people by force of arms in an effort to disturb their building of a thriving socialist country.
