Kurdish source: the Iranian artillery resumes pounding Kurdish border areas

Baghdad (NINA) – Iranian artillery resumed today bombing the border areas in Kurdistan at the same time that Iranian forces opened fire on civilians in Joman district.

Patriotic Union of Kurdistan website quoted a source in Balkity area which was pounded by Iranian artillery as saying “the border areas that were bombed are Barzi, Jalawan, and Broshine affiliated to Joman district,” referring that the Iranian artillery pounded a number of border villages in the region recently.

The source pointed out that the bombing negatively affected the locals of these areas, pointing out that they might leave to other safer areas.
