Attorney Admissions Committee Meets
Doha (QNA) - The Attorney Admissions Committee on Monday met under the chairmanship of HE the Minister of Justice Hassan bin Abdullah Al- Ghanem at the Ministry's permanent headquarters.
During the meeting, the committee members discussed items tabled on the agenda and the proposed amendments to the Advocacy Law No. 23 of 2006.
It also approved a number of attorneys' applications for admission to the Bar as professional and trainees lawyers.
The committee recommended to further study the proposed amendments and to review the terms and conditions of the admission in the bar for non-Qatari lawyers according to the article No 9 of the Advocacy Law.
