Al-Attiya receives letter on Yemen's accession to GCC organizations

RIYADH, Sep. 10 (Saba) - The Secretary General of the Gulf
Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdul Rahman al-Attiya received here on
Wednesday a letter related to Yemen's accession to some the GCC
organizations

The letter sent from the Minister of Trade and Industry Yahya
al-Mutawakel included procedures of Yemen's accession to the GCC
Standardization Organization.

The letter also includes course of actions to join Yemen to the Gulf
Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) based on the MoU
signed last August.

Additionally, its contains a request to take the necessary legal
actions to avail from the GCC - Patent Office, according to the
decisions of GCC Ministerial Council, 108th round, held in Jeddah
early in September.
