Pakistani tribesmen block Pak-Afghan border at Chaman

Chaman, June 17, 2011 (PPI): A large number of Pashtun tribesmen blocked the Pak-Afghan border for three hours on Friday to protest killing of eight people at the hands of afghan guards a day before.

All kind of traffic and supplies including NATO supplies came to stand still due to blocking of border from 8.00a.m to 11.00a.m.

The killings were result of clashes between border guards and Pakistani and Afghan tribesmen who live on both sides of the border, as they were being searched.
