Kim Jong Il Enjoys Performance Given by Art Groups of Families of Servicepersons

Pyongyang, June 11 (KCNA) -- Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, together with officers and men of the KPA enjoyed a performance given by the art groups of families of servicepersons of KPA Units 534, 529, 264 and 549 which participated in the second term-fourth contest of art groups of families of servicepersons of the KPA. He expressed great satisfaction over the performance flawless in ideological contents and artistry staged by the members of the art groups with numbers of great cognitional and educational value. He highly appreciated the successful performance and extended thanks to them. All the numbers put on the stage dealt with important and meaningful socio-political issues arising in the struggle and life of people in the era of Songun through the depiction of essential and significant aspects of life strictly on the basis of reality and made a profound ideological and artistic representation of them, he said. He praised them for their splendid performance and extended a warm salute to them.
