Top to Mull Future of Media at Zurich Summit

Doha, June 08 (QNA) - How to effectively disseminate news through innovative journalism and creating the news agency of the future are among the key topic media experts will discuss at the 10th International Newsroom Summit starting in Zurich Thursday.
Leading editors and media directors will speak on issues and challenges newspapers and the print media is facing with the arrival of new age multimedia and social networking sites on the Internet at the two-day Summit organised by Newsplex.
Top journalists are attending the Summit. Qatar News Agency's Editor of Foreign Language News Jassim Al Hamadi and Director of Media Relations Ahmed Al Buainain will be representing Qatar at the conference.
The media conclave will mull the following topics - Successful Multi-Media Publishing, Developments in Newsroom Transformation, The Quest to go Fully Digital by 2015 Without Abandoning Print Media, Audience Engagement and Innovative Journalism on the first day.
The Future of News and Digital Content, Strategy for Tablet Publishing and Integrating it into the Newsroom, and Business Models for the Newsroom will be discussed on the second day.
