Laos, Vietnam Parties further bilateral ties

VIENTIANE,JUNE. (KPL)- Lao Party Central Committee Organisation Board (LPCCOB) and the Commission for Organisation of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC) in Vientiane Capital, on 4 June signed a Memorandum of Understanding to further cooperation in the period of 2011-15.
Under the MoU was stipulated that two sides would further cooperate and exchange visits between high-ranking delegations, further train officials based on two governments’ agreement, further exchange bilateral information and exchange cooperation between Lao Party Building magazine and constructive magazine of Vietnam Communist Party “Xay Dung Dang”.
The Head of LPCCOB, Mr. Chansy Phosikham and his delegation met with his Vietnamese counterpart of the CPVCC, Mr. To Huy Rua his working visit Laos on 4-8 June.
Both sides have discussed on outstanding development circumstances of each countries and Parties member buildings.
Mr. Chansy has highly valued the working visit of CPVCC delegation, which was a milestone to enhance the existing special solidarity and multifaceted cooperation between Lao and Vietnamese Parties.
He highlighted the achievements of the 9th Party Congress of Laos which was attended by 576 permanent members representing 191,780 Party members nationwide to Vietnamese delegation.
The meeting has also reported the fulfillments of the implementation of the resolution of 8th Party Congress over the past five years.
The 9th Party Congress was determined different duties covering many areas by focusing on four breakthroughs of imagination, development human resource, administration and poverty reduction.
At the meeting, the two sides have also informed each other of the socio-economic situations in their country as well as the implementation of Party organising and building work during the past time. They agreed to continue the exchange of delegations and mutual support in information technology application, official training and consultation for the two Parties in enhancing human resources in the future.
