Laos, Vietnam review compilation of Laos and Vietnam histories
VIENTIANE,JUNE. (KPL)- Laos and Vietnam held a meeting to summarise a project on compilation of Laos and Vietnam histories on special relations between two countries at the National Culture Hall on 6-7 June.
Vice-President Mr. Bounnhang Vorachit highlighted the Party, government and Lao people are hearted-felt thanks and proud of a long traditional relations between Laos and Vietnam, which seems to be deeply expanded and stabilised. Since, the Indochinese Communist Party has been found by late President Ho Chi Minh in 1930, which the long tradition relations and special relations between two countries have been maintained from the first batch of two leaders to current leaders.
The existing specials solidarity between Laos and Vietnam have been proved over the past century, which two countries shoulder to shoulders to fight against the same enemy of French and America emperors, and multifaceted cooperation on national safeguarding and development, he continued.
The meeting held yesterday to pin medal on officials who have contributed to the compilation of Laos and Vietnam and Vietnam and Laos histories book and launched Lao-Viet history book on special relations between Laos and Vietnam.
“The compilation of story has been fulfilled thanks to bilateral cooperation in research and study in various documents in Laos and Vietnam,” said Mr. Samane Viyakhet, former Politburo member. “Many documents have been put in the history book.”
Attending the ceremony were standing member of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee Mr. Truong Tan Sang, the Head of Commission for Organisation of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Mr. To Huy Rua, Mr. Saman Viyakhet and high ranking officials.
