Children’s Day marked
VIENTIANE,MAY.(KPL) - Hundreds of children and parents took part in Children’s Day Celebration held on May 28-29 at the Lao ITECC in Vientiane.
The event was organised by the Ministry of Education in association with the Tiger Head Drinking Water of the Lao Brewery Company.
The event was aimed to promote the development of children and their talents and self esteem. Children from 15 kindergartens and primary schools participated in the event as competitors for dancing and singing contests and painting competition under a motto “Love the Earth Love Environment”.
Both parents and children were also allowed to form teams to compete against each other. The organizing committee of the event designed this game to enhance the bond between children and their parents.
