Laos, Cambodia further co-operation on public security
VIENTIANE,MAY.(KPL) - An annual meeting between the Ministry of Public Security and Ministry of Interior of Cambodia was held in Vientiane on 25 May under the co-chairmanship of Mr. Thongbanh Seng-aphone, Minister of Public Security and Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Sor Kheng.
The meeting was also attended by governor of Champassak, and Attapeu provinces of Laos and governor of Stung Treng, Preah Vihear, and Ratanakiri Provinces of Cambodia and senior officials concern from two sides.
At the meeting, the two sides discussed and exchanged their point of view on their co-operation and the ways to address the problems happed in the border areas of the two countries and how to promote their co-operation in different fields with friendship and understanding atmospheres. On this occasion, the sides also signed their co-operation MoU for the period of 2011.
