Nuseif: blackout on a fire in the MOI

Baghdad (NINA) – MP from the White Iraqiya Slate, Aliya Nuseif, demanded the “government and the parliament presidency to investigate the fire took place in the Ministry of Interior last Friday.”

In a press statement, Nuseif said “the fires in ministries have become a common event, every time there was an accusation of corruption in some ministry, we wake up on a fire devouring particular floors in that ministry.”

She added “it is really unfortunate to have this blackout on the fire in the 11th floor of the MOI at 4.00pm, last Friday.”

“There are indications of financial and admin corruption in the MOI, we demand the government and parliament to form committees to investigate the fire where the computers and important documents are kept, especially that the fire happened at a time a new Minister of Interior is about to be elected,” she concluded. /End/
