131 Iraqis return home coming from Yemen

Baghdad (NINA) – Ministry of Migration and Displaced announced that an Iraqi plane landed in the Baghdad International Airport carrying 131 Iraqis returning from Yemen.

Safaa Hussein, Head of the Reception Committee said, in a statement issued by the Ministry today “the ministry received the first batch of Iraqis returning from Yemen on the Iraqi government’s expense. The government is exerting exceptional efforts to receive the Iraqi families willing to return from the neighboring countries on the backgrounds of the unrest in the Arab countries like, Libya and Egypt.”

He added “all possible means to facilitate Iraqis’ return to Iraq were provided to preserve their safety and dignity.” /End/
