Islam offers solution to current world issues: moot told

Karachi, May 17, 2011 (PPI): Only Islam offers perfect and practical solution to the contemporary world issues, speakers told a moot here.

The seminar on “From creation to defending of Pakistan” was held at a local hotel Tuesday evening by Jamaat-e-Islami (Women Wing) Karachi.

JI Pakistan women wing secretary general Dr Rukhsana Jabeen, Aisha Munawar, Prof Shahida Wazarat, Prof Saeeda Naqvi, Jahan Ara Lutfi Akram Khatoon, Rana Afzal, Afshan Naveed, Shaheen Salahuddin, Aalia Mansoor, Parven Basher, Shahnaz Rafiq, Erum Butt, Parven Malik, Qulsom Altaf and others spoke.

They stressed upon finding out the root-causes of problems facing the nation and country. They said we should practically adopt the everlasting teaching of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) to solve these issues for good.

They blamed that the political parties had failed to get united the nation. They said we need to eliminate corruption and mismanagement and get rid of the American slavery. They regretted today airbases in Pakistan are being to kill and main our own people.

The speakers said rampant corruption, illiteracy and dishonesty are shaking the very foundations of our country. We can’t create an Islamic society, unless spreading the lesson of truth, courage and honesty in it.

The women leaders regretted when American commandos were shattering sovereignty of country in Abbottabad the greedy politicians were busy in redistributing ministries amongst them. They said the spineless rulers shamelessly went on foreign tours instead of facing the shell-shocked nation after the Abbottabad tragedy.

The speakers demanded accountability of rulers, politicians and bureaucracy at every level so that the country could be put on the path of progress and prosperity.
