AGL renamed Allianz General Laos
VIENTIANE,MAY.(KPL) - A press conference on the renaming of Assurance General du Laos as Allianz General Laos was held yesterday.
The management of the company said they changed neither the acronyms nor logo of the company. As a result, the acronym for the company is “AGL” for English and “®¯ì” for Lao.
The company said the renaming was in line with its policy to make it more internationally recognized.
Founded in 1991, AGL is a joint venture investment between the government of Laos represented by the Ministry of Finance (49%) and world recognised insurance and financial company Allianz (51%).
