Teachers to use software to manage exam
VIENTIANE,MAY.(KPL) - The APIS Company, Laos in cooperation with the PREDICT JSC, Vietnam held a exam management software familiarization session for representatives of tertiary institutes and secondary and primary schools across the country last Wednesday, April 11.
The experiment on applying the software in Laos was conducted last year for the Dongkhamsang Accounting College, Saengsavanh College and several primary and secondary schools.
The software is specifically developed for examination process including the issuance of closed and open exam questions and marking. It was introduced in Vietnam in 2010 to ease the management of examination in general education and tertiary institutes.
The programme has been adjusted, including by translating the Vietnamese language version into Lao one, to ensure proper application in Laos by the APIS Company in Laos with technical assistance from the PREDICT JSC in Vietnam, according to Mr. Sisouvanh Sangbouabulom, Deputy Director of Software Engineering Department, Vientiane Technology Institute.
