JI stages rally against ‘US intervention’
Tando Adam, May 06, 2011 (PPI): On the appeal of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistani Amir Syed Munawar Hasan a protest rally was staged here on Friday against the ‘US invention’ in Pakistan.
The rally participated by a large number of people marched on various roads. JI Sindh chapter amir Asadullah Bhutto addressed the rally at M A Jinnah Road. He criticized the government policies, saying rulers were not taking action against drone attacks and other activities of US spy agencies in Pakistan.
He said extra-judicial killings could not be accepted under any pretext. He asked the government to take befitting steps to protect the sovereignty of Pakistan and stop frequent violation of Pakistani territories.
