University certificates counterfeiting network arrested

SANA'A, Sep. 03 (Saba)- The General Administration of Criminal
Investigation has arrested a network of counterfeiting university
certificates and IDs consisting of 9 people, out of them non-Yemeni
university professors.

Director General of the General Administration of Criminal
Investigation Brigadier General Abu Bakr Sa'eed told 26.sep.net that
"the administration had already received a number of notifications
regarding the counterfeiting of university certificates and,
therefore, a team was formed to track down on the criminals."

He added that the team continued working for two months until it
arrested the network members one after the other with 71 stamps of a
number of Yemeni governmental and private universities, concerned
ministries and some embassies.
