Pakistani police constable kills wife in 'honour killing'

Naudero, April 29, 2011 (PPI): A police constable shot dead his wife on the pretext of Karo-Kari (honour killing) here on Friday.

Constable Ali Hasan Kori, killed his wife Nazir Khatoon, 35, when he saw her in an objectionable state with her brother-in-law in his house. After the incident, he handed over himself to police and gave details of the happening before the journalists.

Body of the deceased was shifted to Ratodero Taluka Hospital. She was constable's second spouse.
