Film festival marks Laos and China’s diplomatic relations
VIENTIANE, ( KPL) - A Chinese film festival is now on display at the National Culture Hall, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Lao and China.
The event was organised by Chinese Embassy in Laos in cooperation with Lao Ministry of the Information and Culture.
The opening ceremony of Chinese film festival was held on 22 April, drawing Deputy Minister of Information and Culture Bosengkham Vongdala, Chinese Ambassador to Laos Mrs. Bu Jiangua, leaders of Party and Government and Vientiane residents.
The film festival was a milestone, depicting a long fine tradition of China, development of China’s films and popular in China and worldwide.
The free of charge movies will be displayed last 28 April, starting at 8 pm, National Culture Hall.
This is a determination of China enhancing the existing all-round cooperation between two Parties, governments and two people of Laos and China.
