8 Policemen, Asayish, civilian wounded in 3 IEDs in Kirkuk
Kirkuk (NINA) – Eight policemen, Asayish members and a civilian wounded on Tuesday evening, Apr. 26, when three improvised explosive devices went off consecutively in Kirkuk.
Security source told NINA that an improvised explosive device, emplaced on the road side in Almas area, eastern Kirkuk, went off when a truck carrying oil products, setting it on fire.
The source pointed out that a second improvised explosive device went off when police and Asayish forces arrived to the scene of the first blast and seconds later, the third IED exploded destroying an Asayish vehicle and also damaging a police vehicle.
