Maliki, Rasoul discuss political developments
Baghdad (NINA) – Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki discussed with the First Deputy of the Secretary General of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Kosert Rasoul, political developments in Iraq, and in Kurdistan region in particular.
The PUK web site said, "Maliki met with Rasoul and the delegation accompanying him, discussing political developments in Iraq, including Kurdistan region in particular; they exchanged opinions over the relations between Federal government and the government of Kurdistan region and the necessity to consolidate them."
It added, "Rasoul expressed satisfaction over achievement realized in the security, political and economic fields through out Iraq."
