Shaways, US ambassador discuss enhancing economic, cultural, political ties
Baghdad (NINA) – Deputy Prime minister, Rowsch Nouri Shaways, discussed with US ambassador to Iraq, James Jeffery, horizons of enhancing bilateral relations through the exchange of human, technical, and technological expertise.
A statement issued by Shaways office Tuesday said “the Deputy Premier stressed Iraq’s keenness on holding good and balanced relations with all world countries including the US.”
“For his part, the American ambassador referred that the US is committed to providing technical support and help developing human expertise, as well as support the Iraqi economy opening to the world market and encourage world firms on investing in Iraq’s market,” the statement concluded.
