Rodong Sinmun Blasts S. Korean Official's Remarks for Confrontation

Pyongyang (KCNA) - Shortly ago, Deputy Minister of Unification of south Korea Om Jong Sik again mouthed the issue of "expenses for unification" and talked about "making preparations for it in advance". He also let loose piffle that it is necessary to lead the north to changes, even citing Germany as an instance.
Rodong Sinmun Tuesday observes in a bylined commentary carried in this regard: Om's remarks bring to light the south Korean authorities' undisguised ambition for achieving the unification of the systems.
It goes on:
It is known well that the south Korean conservative forces have worked hard to realize the daydream of achieving "unification under liberal democracy".
The inter-Korean relations still remain in the mire of the worst catastrophe though they had steadily developed since the publication of the June 15 joint declaration. It has become clearer that this is attributable to the reckless acts of confrontation maniacs making desperate efforts to do harm to the north's idea and system.
But, the ambition for unifying the systems desperately pursued by the conservative group is no more than a fantastic dream which would never come true even if the sky were to fall.
