Investment proposals for Sawa Lake in Muthanna Province

Samawa (NINA) – Adel Dakhil Al Yasiri, Director General of Muthanna Investment Commission, announced that a number of Arab and foreign firms submitted investment proposals to invest Sawa Lake, 30km western Samawa city, Al Yasiri stated to NINA.

“American, UAE, and Iraqi firms submitted proposals that included holding a resort on the lake. The lake is considered as one of the strangest natural lakes in the world, a thing that gives it a significance of what could become a destination of thousands of tourists from different countries of the world.” Al Yasiri referred.
