SIIC official escapes assassination
Baghdad (NINA) – Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council official, Majid Abdul Hussein, escaped assassination attempt when an improvised explosive device, emplaced in his house's garage, in Jihad neighborhood, went off.
Police source told NINA on Sunday, Apr. 3, that the blast resulted in killing one of the guardsmen and wounding three civilians, as well as causing damages to the house.
He pointed out that the SIIC official was not hurt.
