Abbawi, Serbia's Charge d'Affaires discuss activating Joint Committee

Baghdad (NINA) – Foreign Undersecretary, Labib Abbawi, discussed with Serbia's Charge d'Affaires in Baghdad, Drakan Beshevas, activating the Joint Iraqi-Serbian Committee and exchange of visits by government officials.

A statement issued on Wednesday, Mar. 30, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "Abbawi met with Beshevas discussing means to develop bilateral relations and activating the Joint Iraqi-Serbian Committee, as well as exchange official visits."

It added, "The two discussed also latest developments in the Arab area, especially what is going on in Libya, Syria, Jordan and Bahrain, as well as the situation in Iraq." / End.
