Law enforcement in economic sector discussed
VIENTIANE,MARCH 29 (KPL) - Over 50 representatives of the National Assembly, mainly from its Economic, Social and Financial Commission, government secretariat, ministries of Justice, Agriculture and Forestry, Finance and foreign financed development programmes are participating in a roundtable meeting on the implementation of laws in economic and financial sectors. The workshop was held between March 29 and 30.
The participants focused on the exchange of viewpoints on the implementation of laws in economic and financial sectors in the last five years including law on taxation, law on state budget, law on public property management, law on enterprises and the devising of law on securities market, law on processing industry and law on government investment.
The mentioned laws are crucial for the socio-economic development as well as the market orientation and international integration of the country, according to Vice-President of National Assembly Saysomphone Phomvihane.
