At the cost of $ 365 million Erbil International Airport inaugurated

Baghdad (NINA) – With presence of T.urkey's Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the head of Kurdistan region, Massoud Barazani, and the region's Prime Minister, Barham Saleh, the Erbil International Airport was opened on Tuesday, Mar. 29.

The $ 365 million Airport project with yearly capacity of 3 million passengers, the British designed Airport was constructed by a Turkish firm.

Work in constructing the Airport started on 2005 and was put into operation on September 2010. / End.
