Iraq's Ambassador to Lithuania presents his credentials
Baghdad (NINA) – Iraq's Ambassador to Poland, Sa'ad Jawad Qandeel presented his credentials to the President of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskait, being non-resident Ambassador to Lithuania.
A statement issued on Sunday, Mar. 27, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "In the ceremony, Lithuania's President expressed interest in Iraq, being an important country for her country."
It added that the two reviewed important political, economic and cultural issues concerning both countries.
For his part, Ambassador Qandeel, "Expressed high estimate to the President calling for consolidating mutual cooperation." The statement added. / End.
