Talabani arrives in Tehran to participate in a festival of Nowruz Gala
Baghdad (NINA) – President Jalal Talabani arrived on Saturday noon, Mar. 26, in Tehran to take part in the festivals of Nowruz Gala due to start on Sunday.
He was received at Mehrabad Airport in Tehran by Iran's Minister of Education, Hameed Ridha Haj Baba'e, Iran's Ambassador to Iraq, Hassan Danaei Far, and the representative of the government of Kurdistan to Iran, Nadhim Omer.
The festivities of Nowruz Gala is scheduled to open on Sunday at Wahdeh Hall in Tehran with the attendance of Talabani and Iran's President, Mahmood Ahmadi Nejad, as well as, the presidents of Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Armenia, in addition to representatives from 25 countries. / End.
