Iraqi-British conference for oil and gas in Basra

Basra (NINA) – “Activities of the Economic Iraqi-British Conference specialized in oil and gas started Saturday,” head of the Iraqi Businessmen union told NINA.
“The aim behind holding such a conference is to activate the economic relation between the private sector on one hand and the local and foreign firms on the other hand,” Sabih Al Hashimi continued.
He added “the conference also aims at opening real partnership between both sides in addition to acquainting expertise from foreign firms in the oil and gas field.”
The two days conference is present by managers of State South Company for Oil, State South Company for Gas, Excavations Company, as well as private sector oil and gas companies. /End/
