Laos expresses concern for Libyan situation
VIENTIANE ,MARCH (KPL) The Lao People’s Democratic Republic is deeply concerned about military operations conducted towards Libya which have caused the loss of lives and property of Libyan people and affected peace and stability in the region.
This was the statement made by the spokesman of the Lao Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Vientiane yesterday.
Laos has urged all parties concerned to put an end to the operations and settle the problems by peaceful means on the basis of the United Nations Charter, international law and respect for the independence and sovereignty of states.
