Central Bank opens modernised systems and service
VIENTIANE,MAR 11.(KPL)- The Bank of the Lao PDR in cooperation with the CSCC, Oracle Company, CMA Company and Emersion Company held a grand opening ceremony for the Modernised Systems and Service last Friday.
Since 2007, the Bank of the Lao PDR and the CSCC have developed a road map for modernising the banking industry in the Lao PDR.
The roadmap covers the design and implementation of various IT systems and financial system infrastructure in the country.
Both parties have been working together on developing other national systems for the banking and financial industry in due course, these systems include National Payment Systems, Data Centre Co-location, according to President of the CSCC, Mrs. Samsivath Keobounphanh.
Present at the opening ceremony for the newly established system were Governor of the Bank of the Lao PDR, Mr. Phoupheth Khamphounvong, President of the CSCC, Mrs. Samsivath Keobounphanh, and representatives of the Oracle Company, CMA Company and Emersion Company and relevant officials.
