Yemen, Jordan to set up joint maritime company
Amman setting up a joint maritime transport company to contribute toboosting trade exchange between both countries.
Minister of Transport Khaled al-Wazir held talks in Amman with Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Wealth- Acting Transport Minister Khaldon Qaishat over procedures relating to joining Yemen to the Syrian-Jordanian Marine Navigation Company based on the results of the meetings of the preparatory committee for the Yemeni-Jordanian Joint Higher Committee (YJJHC) held in Amman and co-chaired by Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya al-Mutawakel andJordanian counterpart Amer al-Haideri.
The two sides dealt with evaluating mutual cooperation fields in land and air transport, confirming their interest to develop mutualcooperation ties between the two countries in transport fields.
