Yemen, WFP talk over bilateral cooperation

SANA'A, March 02 (Saba)- Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi met here on Wednesday with the
evaluation mission on the country program of the United Nations' World Food Programme (WFP).
At the meeting, the two sides reviewed a number of issues related to the bilateral cooperation between Yemen and the WFP and ways of boosting it so as to serve the common goals, in addition to details related to the WFP's country program for 2011-2015.
In this regard, al-Arhabi expressed his appreciation for the keenness of the WFP on harmonizing the time of the new country program for Yemen with the time limit of the fourth five-year plan for socioeconomic development and poverty alleviation for 2011-2015.
The WFP's mission confirmed the willingness of the WFP to continue to provide all aspects of possible support for Yemen, noting the level of the existing cooperation between Yemen and the Programme.
