Health meeting on taking care of Health meeting on taking care of Aids patients held patients held

Organization with support from The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, the National Anti-Aids Program organized on Tuesday a meeting on importance of providing curative care services to Aidspatients.

Participated by 40 health leaderships across the country, the meeting called for gaining support and enlightening health leaderships on new medical sites through which health and curativecare to Aids patients would be provided.

In the meeting, Director of Epidemic Surveillance in health ministry Abdul-Hakim al-Kuhlani indicated importance of making use of the experiences of the two centers curing aids patients in Sana'a andAden for enhancing positives and overcoming negatives.

He clarified that preparations for opening new locations providing health services to aids patients would be opened in Taiz, Hudeidahand Mucalla provinces.

Representative of the National Anti-Aids Program Yasin Abdul-Wareth clarified that participants reviewed results of evaluating curative sites and means of boosting health and curative care to Aids patients. For his part, WHO's representative Ghulam Rabbani affirmed continuous technical cooperation between the organization and healthministry in field of combating this disease.
