Iraqi Premier arrives in Kuwait

Baghdad (NINA) –Iraqi Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, arrived in Kuwait in an official visit accompanied by a high-level delegation on Wednesday morning.



A source from PM Maliki’s office mentioned in a press statement “The visit will last in one day and it is the first to Kuwait since the government formation on 21, December, 2010.”



“PM Maliki will discuss developing bilateral relations and ending the pending issues as well as forgetting the past which caused by Sadam’s regime with the Emir of Kuwait and the Prime Minister, Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah.”



The source expected the visit to result in important results concerning upgrading the relations and removing Iraq from 7th Chapter of UN’s Charter.
