Iranian novel “Esmaeil” hits Russian bookstores
TEHRAN, Jan. 19 (MNA) -- A Russian version of the Iranian novel “Esmaeil” by Amirhossein Fardi was published in Moscow.
Sponsored by the Islamic Culture Research Foundation in Moscow, the book was translated into Russian by Alexander Andrewshekin and published by the Istok Publications.
The novel narrates the story of a young Iranian boy Esmaeil during the time of the Islamic revolution in Iran. He is deeply impressed by the concept of humanity in Islam, which motivates him to take part in the revolutionary struggle.
Fardi has completed the second volume of the novel which is ready for final revision. He intends to write the third volume since in his view “if it is not written, the book will remain uncompleted.”
