Isfahan-Manama direct flight launched
TEHRAN, Jan. 12 (MNA) -- The Gulf Air Company launched the first direct flight from Isfahan(one of the Iranian city which is located about 340 km south of Tehran)to Manama( the capital and largest city of Bahrain) on January 10.
There was no direct flight from Isfahan to Manama in the past and the journey had required at least one stopover.
The Bahraini ambassador to Tehran, Rashid Al Dossari, the governor of Isfahan, and some other Iranian officials attended the inaugural ceremony for the flight.
In August, the first direct flight from Manama to Isfahan was launched, and the Iranian ambassador to Manama, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, attended the inaugural ceremony for the connection in Bahrain.
