Iran, 5+1 group to meet on Jan. 21, 22
TEHRAN, Jan. 12 (MNA) -- Iran`s Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast told in his weekly press briefing that Iran and the 5+1 group (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany) will meet for talks on January 21 and 22 in Istanbul.
“Both sides have reached consensus on January 21 and 22.”
He also said that so far, the negotiating sides have not raised the issue of other countries’ participation in the talks.
