Shoura chairman affirms Yemeni firm attitude to Palestinian issue

SANA'A, Aug. 09 (Saba) - Chairman of Shoura Council Abdul Aziz Abdul
Ghani affirmed Saturday the Yemeni firm attitude towards Palestinian
people and its just case.

He said during his meeting with the Palestinian Prime Minister Salam
Fayadh, that the Yemeni initiative to heal the Palestinian rift
emerged from Yemeni love and care to the Palestinian people, pinning
his hops that the Palestinian brothers would come soon to an
agreement solving this crisis based on the Yemeni initiative.

Abdul Ghani welcomed the joint agreement between the Yemeni and
Palestinian governments on establishing a joint committee for the
commercial and economic cooperation.

For his part, the Palestinian official appreciated the role was
played by Yemen to support the Palestinian issue, saying that "The
Palestinian factions are agreed on the Yemen initiative."

He reviewed with Mujawar the latest developments in Palestine arena
and the achieved efforts to end the conflict between Fatah and Hamas.

Fayadh talked over an initiative - offered by the Palestinian
government to overcome this crisis - contains two parts, first one
is forming a transitional government that would prepare and run
parliament and presidential elections and the second one is
concerning constructing the security bodies on bases of nationality
and professionalism not factionalism.
