Yemen elected as AYC deputy chairman for 2nd time

SANA'A, Aug. 06 (Saba) - For the 2nd time, Yemen was elected during the 10th Conference of Asian Youth Council (AYC) as a deputy
chairman for the council.
Upon his arrival in Sana'a, Deputy Ministry of Sport and Youth
Mua'amar al-Eryani said that the conference concluded its activities
lately in South Korea came out with a new vision over taking care of
the Asian youth and how to improve they role in various walks of
life.
He highlighted the leadership and the government's care for the
Yemeni youth through pushing them to take part in the economic,
social and political activities.
Worth Mentioning, AYC is a Non-Governmental Organization in
consultative status with the United Nations' Economic and Social
Commission (ECOSOC).
Memberships of the AYC comprised of national youth organizations in Asia. AYC Serves as a forum for information exchange among national youth councils in Asia and other inter-regional agencies. It works closely with various regional and international partners to promote youth volunteerism and development of leadership among young people.
