Envoy calls for boosting of Tehran-Abu Dhabi economic ties

Dubai, UAE, Aug 4, IRNA - Iranian Ambassador to Abu Dhabi held talks with Director General of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry Abdul Rahman Seif al-Aziz on issues of mutual interest.

Referring to the two countries' commonalties, Asefi emphasized the
need for expansion of bilateral ties in the fields of trade and banking.

He termed the trend of mutual trade activities as positive, calling
for removal of obstacles to promotion of bilateral ties.

Seif al Aziz, for his part, termed the role of the Islamic Republic of
Iran in the region as vital, adding that "The UAE is interested in
boosting mutual cooperation with Iran."
He also voiced his country's readiness to remove impediments to
expansion of the two countries' economic and trade activities.

The two sides also emphasized the need to hold joint trade meetings
and exchange economic delegations.
